National Education Association, NEA Staff Organization ratify tentative agreement

The new contract covers everything from wages and benefits to working conditions

WASHINGTON—The following statement can be attributed to NEA Executive Director Kim Anderson and NEASO President Robin L. McLean:

“The National Education Association (NEA) and the National Education Association Staff Organization (NEASO) today ratified a 3-year collective bargaining agreement that covers everything from wages and benefits to working conditions. Both parties reached the tentative agreement on August 15 and worked through their internal processes to seek ratification and approval. The new contract takes effect on September 1, 2024.”
