OUR VISIT TO THE NLRB
In order to investigate grievances, bargain with the employer, and ensure compliance with the contract, the union has a legal right to information from the employer.
Despite its legal obligation to provide NEASO with this information, NEA continuously ignored one of our information requests for a particularly contentious grievance.
So we filed charges with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and we prevailed! NEA provided us with the information that we requested after the NLRB intervened.
