The Marie Warren Service Award
The Marie Warren Memorial Service Award was established by the NEASO Board in 1993 to honor the memory of Marie Warren, a committed NEASO member and union activist. Marie devoted much time, effort, and energy to running the union.
The sudden loss of Marie during 1991 negotiations was felt deeply among her NEASO friends and colleagues, who continue to remember her through this award.
This award honors individuals who have exhibited similarly exceptional devotion to the operation of NEASO through their volunteer service. This distinction is awarded annually, by a vote of the NEASO Board, to a qualified applicant nominated by the membership.
The deadline to nominate is July 31.
