Ratified

The NEA Staff Union has ratified a fair contract.

The National Education Association Staff Organization (NEASO) membership has voted to ratify the tentative agreement reached with the National Education Association (NEA) on August 15, 2024.

Union Values Upheld

The successor agreement ratified by NEASO represents a historic contract for the 300+ members who stayed committed to accepting nothing less than a fair contract that upholds union values. The contract overwhelmingly ratified by NEASO members upholds Union Values, improves Our Pay, respects Our Say, and protects Our Day. NEASO’s newly ratified contract is centered on the bargaining priorities identified by NEASO members in listening sessions, one-on-one conversations, surveys, and townhalls before bargaining began in April, 2024.

Thank you.

Solidarity is a verb.

We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved. Together, NEASO members, NEA members, local and state affiliate staff members, labor allies, public education advocates, and a whole movement of supporters showed what is possible when we stand in solidarity. Throughout this process we have upheld union values and secured a contract that improves our daily lives and creates a path forward for the future of our union.
